QtPi Robotics re-defining learning!

QtPi Robotics started with an idea of helping children to learn to programme, says Jaison Leon, Co-founder. He believes that children are capable of picking technology faster because of agility factor, curiosity and do not hesitate to experiment. Several in-house experimentations with his own children paved a way to the formation of the company.

Anto Jerlin and Raghunath Babu Are who are experts from Software industries such as Yahoo! and Microsoft, India joined hands because of their love towards robotics. They believe in ‘Top-Down’ approach to learning robotics that has ‘hands-on’ and is ‘fun-filled’. This process has lead to interesting projects such as bubble blower, smart tap etc. The workshops are aimed at children 6-16 ideally, however its open for other age groups. They encourage family members to participate through ‘Family Bonding’ workshop.

They have signed with some of the leading schools like Deens Academy, Ryan International schools etc. QtPi Robotics is into creating avenues for our children to become ‘progressive thinkers’ by collaborating with progressive educational institutions. Children are engaged allowing the creative output allowing to come out with unlimited possibilities (designs) through QtPi building blocks. Like a Puritan saying, ‘how to think and not what to think’. Because of this unlimited possibilities, children go through a process of ideate, experiment, build project, test and presents their work. Through this process they are introduced to DESI learning process – Design, Electronics, Software, and Integration.
